Explore the Diocesan Museum of Caltagirone through the 22 points of interest narrated by the audio guides.
On the FIRST FLOOR you will find the Neo-Gothic Chapel, a section dedicated to the Performing arts, the Majolica Section and the Paintings Gallery.
Take a good look: behind the touchscreens, our treasure is on exhibit, the Throne of Grace by Vrancke van der Stock.
You absolutely mustn’t miss it!
The museum is spread over two floors.
On the GROUND FLOOR, after a small Tactile Section dedicated to Vrancke van der Stock’s Throne of Grace, you enter the Silverware Section: here you will find sacred vessels used in the Liturgy of the Word and the Eucharistic Liturgy, as well as Reliquaries and Monstrances.
You will then move on to the Vestments Section and the Archives/Library Section, where the documents on exhibit are often changed.
